Natasha Duffy-Jones

Natasha graduated from University of Wales, Aberystwyth in 2000 with a Joint Honours BA degree in American Studies and Drama. Natasha completed both the post-graduate diploma in Law and the Legal Practice Course at the College of Law, London. She trained at Davenport Lyons and qualified in 2005.   

Natasha’s practice focuses on general corporate and commercial matters with an international focus and more recently Natasha has gained experience in real estate finance.  Natasha frequently acts on large international transactions, which involves liaising with and co-ordinating large numbers of overseas lawyers and advisors.  Natasha has also assisted with the application to AIM of a number of companies with projects based both in the UK and overseas.

Recent experience includes:

  • Acting for a number of banks including HSBC on a range of new facilities – principally investments for individuals, limited partnerships, limited liability partnerships and corporates, including commercial and residential properties.
  • Natasha recently completed a secondment with the HSBC London Corporate Real Estate team.
  • Assisting with the advice to Angel Mining plc on a US$25,000,000 medium term note programme and in relation to an issue of US $12.5m convertible secured loan notes, share consolidation and Rule 9 waiver.
  • Acting for the fashion design company William Tempest Limited on various corporate and commercial matters.
  • Assisting with the reverse takeover by LP Hill of Tranomaro Mineral Development Corporation, acting for the nominated adviser, Strand Hanson Limited.
  • Assisting with the recommended Takeover Offer by Advanced Computer Software Plc for Business Systems Group Holdings Plc.
  • Assisting with the sale of 2 dental practices to a corporate entity.
  • Assisting with the acquisition of an overseas company with a property portfolio in Ukraine for in excess of US$62 million.
  • Assisting with the sale of a 50% interest in a property development project in Denmark, including assisting with the preparation of the Shareholders’ Agreement and the advice on the proposed corporate structure.
  • Assisting on the proposed sale of interests in two entities holding licences to explore for oil and gas in the CIS region and advising on the related shareholder documentation.  Co-ordinating and advising on the implementation of the joint venture structure to effect the proposed sale.
  • Assisting with the AIM flotations of Max Petroleum Plc; Uranium Mining Corporation Plc and Talent Group Plc.
  • Assisting with the demerger of HML Holdings plc from LTC Holdings plc and its application for admission to the AIM market.

Natasha enjoys acting, performing in several annual productions with the College of Law at RADA and has also recently developed a love of swimming, cycling and running, having just completed her first ‘sprint’ triathlon in London as part of a Davenport Lyons triathlon team.
