Deborah graduated in Law from King's College, London in 1977. She was articled with Taylor Tyrrell Lewis & Craig , admitted as a solicitor in 1980 and made a partner in 1982. In 1984 she joined the private client department at McKenna & Co (now Cameron McKenna) dealing with wills and estate planning and administration, trusts, and charities for major British family interests and high profile media personalities. Her work expanded to advising high net worth families on the opportunities provided by trusts, not only from a fiscal point of view but also from the aspect of managing family wealth down the generations.
After the birth of her two children, Deborah continued with this area of work with Finers Stephens Innocent and joined Davenport Lyons' Tax & Trust Group in June 2001. She became an Associate in July 2004.
