Nigel is an associate in the Music and Contentious Rights and Dispute Resolution Departments. Prior to his career in law he worked in the music industry for 12 years as a record producer and studio engineer. His litigation practice focuses on the resolving of music and film disputes and advising on digital rights protection and exploitation. He has represented a number of household names in the music industry (both record/publishing companies and artists) as well as film finance and production companies. Nigel’s non-contentious practice is industry and artist focused and he represents a number of established and emerging artists advising on commercial and intellectual property matters as well as advising more broadly on online delivery and content matters.
