| Emily
graduated from Sheffield University with a degree in
Law before studying for the LPC. She joined Davenport
Lyons in 2005 as a trainee solicitor and qualified in
September 2007.
Emily has joined the firm’s Contentious Rights and
Dispute Resolution Department as an assistant solicitor,
advising on defamation and media related litigation matters
as well as general commercial disputes and breach of contract
disputes. Emily has had experience in contentious
intellectual property, media law and litigation matters. Her
recent experience includes assisting on claims brought
by a member of a foreign Royal Family for breach of confidence,
fraud and money tracing and assisting on claims involving
breach of contract.
