| Lorna
graduated from Kingston University in 1995 with a degree
in music. She joined Davenport Lyons in 2005 as
a trainee solicitor and qualified in September 2007
into the firm’s Music Group.
Prior to training as a lawyer, Lorna spent 5 years
working for some of the major music publishers (Warner/Chappell,
BMG and Universal). During this time she specialised
in sample clearance and copyright infringement issues.
Lorna’s recent experience includes:

Working on the acquisition of a number of music
publishing and sound recording catalogues;

Advising on the licensing of music and video content
for use on a well-known website;

Drafting music and entertainment
industry contracts including producer contracts,
licensing agreements and confidentiality agreements.
