Mitra graduated from Oxford University with a degree
in classics. She joined Davenport Lyons in 2004 as
a trainee solicitor and qualified in October 2006.
Following a secondment to The Licensing Company during
her training contract, she joined the firm’s
Non-Contentious Intellectual Property and Information
Technology Department as an assistant solicitor.
Mitra’s recent experience includes:
- Intellectual Property – IP licences and
assignments, domain name registrations and due
diligence in corporate transactions;
- Information Technology - IT services agreements,
website development agreements, online membership
policies and terms of use for websites;
- Computer Games – online membership policies
and computer game software development agreements;
- Data Protection - online privacy policies and
specific advice in relation to data protection
obligations; and
- Commercial – commercial agreements of various
types including standard terms of business and
service agreements.
