| Yaël
graduated from Manchester University in 1992. She
then completed the vocational Bar course at The Inns
of Court School of Law, London and was admitted at
Middle Temple Inn and called to the Bar in October
1993.
Having trained as a Barrister, Yaël decided to
qualify as a Solicitor and joined Davenport Lyons
in May 1996, qualifying in August 1997. Yaël
trained and qualified as a Collaborative lawyer in
March 2005 and became a Consultant to the firm in
August 2005.
Yaël deals with all aspects of private family
law. In particular, she specialises in dealing with
high profile Ancillary Relief cases, involving complex
financial issues resulting from the breakdown of relationships.
She is also experienced in custody and contact disputes
concerning children, drafting Parental Responsibility
Agreements and advising unmarried parents.
Yaël has also been involved in a number of international
child abduction cases. She has advised parties on
cohabitation issues and drafting Cohabitation Agreements
and Pre-Nuptial Agreements.
Yaël is a member of the Solicitors Family Law
Association and a qualified Family Law Mediator. She
has also completed a training course at the Tavistock
Centre on the psychological processes on divorce.
She is fluent in Spanish.
