Jane qualified at D J Freeman in 1995 as a solicitor and has specialised throughout her subsequent career with Olswang since qualification as a commercial property solicitor. She joined the firm in August 2002, became an Associate in July 2004 and a partner in January 2005.

She specialises in acting for tenants, particularly of licensed premises (including restaurant premises, bars, public houses and nightclubs) and retail properties and works closely with the licensing department and planners in relation to new developments of units and transfers and disposals of existing premises.

She also acts for a number of institutional property companies in relation to acquisitions and disposals of commercial property and in particular the acquisition and subsequent management of industrial estates and shopping centres and so has experience in acting for both sides of the property divide – landlords and tenants.
