| Max
graduated from Bristol University in 1995 with a
first class degree in Classics. He joined Freshfields
Bruckhaus Deringer as a trainee solicitor in August
1997 and qualified into the Banking Department there
in September 1999. Max joined the Corporate Department
of Davenport Lyons in April 2006 as an Associate
and became a Partner in January 2008.
Max specialises in general corporate matters, private
mergers and acquisitions, private equity, investment
grade and leveraged debt financing and lease financing
and also has experience in CDO’s, securitisations
and bond issues.
Max’s experience includes:
- Advising on business and share sale and purchases.
- Advising on shareholders’ agreements.
- Advising both borrowers and lenders on all types
of debt financing including leveraged acquisition
debt financing, OpCo/PropCo debt financing, mezzanine
debt financing and investment grade debt financing.
- Implementing effective security packages in respect
of debt financing.
- Advising both lessors and lessees in relation
to lease financing.
