Davenport Lyons buttons up Côte deal

Davenport Lyons continues to act for Côte Restaurants Limited, as it opens a new restaurant in the heart of London’s Hay’s Galleria in early 2009.
Côte was the winner of the ‘best good value restaurant in Britain’ category in the 2009 Good Food Guide and offers the diner an opportunity to sample the simple bistro cooking of Paris. The new restaurant on the south side of the Thames at London Bridge is Côte’s sixth in London, following in the footsteps of venues in Richmond, Soho, Kensington, Covent Garden and Wimbledon.
Davenport Lyons’ Stuart Darlington (Partner – Restaurant Property) was instructed to advise on the acquisition of the new premises. “We are delighted to assist Côte in the purchase of this new restaurant in one of the premier retail and leisure sites in the capital”, he says. “Côte is a rapidly growing business, and this represents a great opportunity for expansion into a new and very popular part of the capital.
