Davenport Lyons completes second deal for Evans Randall

West End law firm Davenport Lyons has completed its second company disposal for funds advised by investment and private equity group, Evans Randall.

The latest deal involved the sale, for approximately £49m, of a Guernsey company owning the leasehold of a property comprising 13.4 hectares at Inchinnan Business Park in Renfrew, Scotland.

Commenting on the sale, Davenport Lyons partner Jonathan Metliss said: “We are delighted with our relationship with Evans Randall and look forward to continuing to assist them in their future activities.”

The Davenport Lyons team, led by Jonathan Metliss, included partners John Hiscock, Gerald Montagu, Marilyn Elstow, Sukh Ahark, associate Alan Barnett and assistants Angharad Davies and James Ogilvie. The Guernsey counsel for the deal was Carey Olsen.

Davenport Lyons’ previous deal for Evans Randall, which took place in late 2010, involved the sale of a company registered in Jersey which owned the freehold of 60 Gracechurch Street in London, for approximately £116m.
