Gary Player Golf Invitational 2010

At a rainy Archerfield Links back in July four teams from Davenport Lyons took part in the European Gary Player Invitational of which Davenport Lyons is a proud sponsor. Each team had their own celebrity player, for Davenport Lyons this included Rory Bremner and DJ Spoony. After a Masterclass from Gary Player the teams took to the course with the team led by Corporate Associate Richard Elliott taking the trophy at the end of the tournament. The proceeds from the Invitational go to support the work of The Player Foundation whose mission is to provide quality education for underprivileged children and strengthen impoverished communities plagued by disease and crime.
