Davenport Lyons advises HarperCollins in its successful attempt to publish the autobiography of “The Stig”

Law firm Davenport Lyons has successfully acted for publishers HarperCollins in the case brought against it by the BBC to prevent the publication by HarperCollins of the autobiography of Top Gear’s The Stig.
The BBC had previously said that publication of the book would have breached confidentiality agreements.
In the High Court today, Mr Justice Morgan ruled that he would not grant the BBC an injunction.

The autobiography will be published by HarperCollins later this month as planned.
